We are a group of artists and programmers, whose aim is to develop our abilities in creating games. We focus on making computer and mobile games. Flame Flicker Interactive has existed for over nearly two years now (15th March 2019), and during that time we’ve been working on five different projects. Occasionally we take part in Game Jams and other smaller projects
In the game you play as a Yokai hunter. Your goal is to defeat all demons that stand in your way. Each time you clear a room of demons you get to choose one of the two special powers. Each special power has it's positive effect, as well as a negative one. You will have to choose wisely and decide which power will be more useful to you.
Each time you play you will encounter a different dungeon as well as different enemies. Rooms that you fight in, are procedurally generated and enemies spawn randomly. Apart from that each time you will have to choose between different superpowers. They are also randomly generated!
Lockdown is an isometric game, set in the futuristic dystopian Republic of Dimaren during an epidemic of the H84 virus. The main character James F. Rando is a Special Forces agent, whose task it is to escort vaccines for said virus to Dimaren’s capital – Gallyck. His task is interrupted by a rebellious group – The Freedom Fighters, who blow up all of the trucks containing the vaccines. James ends up being the only surviving man in his unit, and with the help of his supervisor on the radio, he somehow has to save the vaccines before the rebels destroy them!
„Sombrero Guy” was a game made during the 24-hour Game Jam organized by The Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw. Out of the 100 contenders taking part in the competition, our team was the one that took the prize home! Before the competition started we drew the game jam topic, which was “It shouldn’t be doing that”, which explains why the game has some intentional problems.
